HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS COMPETITION
PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVE

Hong Kong International Artists Competition (HKIAC香港國際藝術家大賽) is founded in the hope of creating a world-class platform for outstanding musicians from different countries and nations around the world to perform.

HKIAC offers musicians a challenging opportunity to gain public recognition. This competition is for those who wish to embark on a career of outstanding music artist. Through this contest, you can not only obtain valuable experience, but also get into the international music scene.

We aim to give musicians an opportunity to understand that learning has its reward. The reward they are receiving is a memorable experience of working in a music studio where arts and science are merged. The music they created is engineered on a CD which they will use to promote themselves. The organization is passionate in promoting lifelong learning.

Hong Kong International Artists Competition (HKIAC香港國際藝術家大賽) is founded by AU YEUNG Wing Kam 歐陽詠琴in 2014. Hong Kong International Artists Competition is solely presented by the Hong Kong Music and Performing School (HKMPS香港音樂藝術學院), co-organized by the Hong Kong Music and Performing Association (HKMPA香港音樂藝術家協會) and the Hong Kong Music and Performing Foundation (HKMPF香港音樂藝術教育發展基金).

HKMPS, HKMPA and HKMPF are the highest musical and cultural organizations founded by AU YEUNG Wing Kam in 2008. All these establishments become a charitable organization under section 88 of Inland Revenue Ordinance in 2009. The organizations are non-partisan, apolitical and inspired by the principles of solidarity, ecology and nonviolence. We are sure that the Hong Kong International Summer Music Camp and the Hong Kong International Artists Competition will be another resounding success, bringing colour and energy to the people all over the world.
